How does it work?
Menthol activates cold-sensitive TRPM8 receptors. When menthol-infused water meets hot stones, steam carries the aroma through the sauna and creates a cooling perception—even though the sauna itself remains hot.

Begin gently. Sauna size, temperature, ventilation and personal sensitivity can change how intense menthol feels.

Fill the bucket
Fill a standard sauna bucket with warm or hot water.

Add one sphere
Place one Menthol Sphere into the water—never directly onto the heater or stones.

Let it disperse
Allow the Menthol Sphere to melt and disperse fully. Stir carefully if needed.

Build gradually
Pour small amounts onto the stones and pause to assess comfort before adding more.

Never place a Menthol Sphere directly on the sauna heater or stones.
Always dissolve it in the sauna-water bucket first. Direct heat can create an excessively concentrated release.

Use only as directed
For sauna use only. Do not ingest. Avoid direct contact with eyes, skin and mucous membranes. Do not handle with wet hands.
Respect the dose
Use no more than one Menthol Sphere per standard sauna-water bucket. Do not combine with essential oils, fragrances or other sauna additives.
Listen to your body
If the sensation becomes uncomfortable, stop using the water, leave the sauna and get fresh air. Seek medical help if symptoms persist.
Know when to ask
If you are pregnant, have asthma, breathing sensitivity, a heart condition or another health concern, consult a healthcare professional before use.
Protect others
Adults should prepare the sauna water. Keep the jar securely closed and out of reach of children and pets.
Store with care
Store tightly closed in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place away from heat, flames and direct sunlight. Do not store inside a hot sauna.

What is menthol?
Menthol is an aromatic organic compound best known for its fresh mint character and distinctive cooling sensation. CLASSIC contains 100% menthol formed into pre-portioned Menthol Spheres.
Why does menthol feel cool in a hot sauna?
Menthol activates TRPM8 cold-sensitive receptors in the skin and airways. Your nervous system interprets this as coolness, creating contrast with the sauna heat.
Does it lower the sauna or body temperature?
No. Menthol changes the perception of temperature; it does not make the sauna cooler and should never be used to judge safe sauna exposure. Take normal breaks, hydrate and leave when you feel too hot.
Does menthol open the airways?
Menthol can create a subjective feeling of fresher, clearer breathing, but it is not a medicine and does not treat congestion, asthma or respiratory illness.
How much should I use?
Use one Menthol Sphere per standard sauna-water bucket. Pour the prepared water onto the stones gradually rather than all at once.
What water temperature should I use?
Use warm or hot sauna water and allow the Menthol Sphere to melt and disperse fully before use. Menthol melts at approximately 42°C.
Can I place a Menthol Sphere directly on the stones?
No. Always dissolve it in a full sauna-water bucket first. Never place it directly on the heater, stones or another hot surface.
Can I mix it with essential oils or other scents?
We do not recommend mixing Menthol Spheres with other additives. Combining products can make the intensity and safety harder to predict.
How long does one jar last?
Each jar contains 60 pre-portioned rituals: one Menthol Sphere for each sauna-water bucket.
Is it suitable for children?
Menthol can feel very intense. We do not recommend Menthol Spheres for children. Adults must prepare the water and keep the product out of children’s reach.
What should I do if it feels too strong?
Stop using the prepared water, leave the sauna and move to fresh air. Ventilate the sauna. If irritation, breathing difficulty or other symptoms persist, seek medical advice.
How should I store the jar?
Keep the jar tightly closed in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place, away from heat, flames and direct sunlight. Keep it outside the hot sauna and out of reach of children and pets.
Accidental exposure
Eyes: rinse carefully with clean water for several minutes. Skin: wash with soap and water. Ingestion or persistent symptoms: contact a poison information centre or medical professional. Always follow the directions on the jar; package instructions take precedence.
